Sarah Birch

Having studied biomedical science at university, I soon realized that a career in research did not align with my interests. The prospect of working in a healthcare setting and engaging with patients directly appealed to me. Upon discovering the role of a Physician Associate, I found a perfect fit for my aspirations. I pursued a Master's degree in Physician Associate Studies at Brighton and Sussex Medical School, and immediately afterwards, I joined the team here at Worthing Medical Group. As a Physician Associate, I have the privilege of attending to patients in acute clinics, conducting chronic disease reviews, and regularly visiting local care homes. Working under the supportive supervision of our GPs, I am proud to contribute to the team and find fulfilment in my role.
